Originally from Hawaii, Annette spent her early years growing up between Hawaii and Montana. She attended Windward Community College in Kaneohe, Hawaii, as well as the University of Montana. After several years in the restaurant industry, she began her career in real estate in Seattle in 1994, and has since been involved in hundreds of transactions.
