Renter Services

Dwellings offers Seattle renter servicesFinding a rental home, apartment or condo in the Seattle area can be very frustrating and time consuming. There is no single place that posts all of the rentals available. There is the MLS (multiple listing service) that does have an assortment of rental listings, however, most property management companies do not post their listings because they want to avoid paying a commission fee and apartment complexes never add their inventory. This leaves you, the renter, having to go from property management company to property management company, driving around neighborhoods calling phone numbers off of signs and scouring Craigslist.

Not only is this time consuming, but it is dangerous. Craigslist is filled with numerous scams, and when you rent directly from a private owner you never know if the home is in foreclosure or even if the person signing your lease has authority to be renting out the property.

At Dwellings Seattle Real Estate we offer a very unique service. For a small fee, we will meet with you and assess your needs, determine what type of property you are looking for, the area in which you are looking and your price range. Our agents have relationships with many property management companies, apartment complexes and multiple listing service access. We will pull together any and all listings that meet your criteria. Once you have had a chance to review the inventory we will take you on a tour of the rentals you have selected. When you’ve found a home or apartment that fits your needs, we will negotiate the best terms for you and walk you through the necessary paperwork.

    Hello Meg,
We have a rental property on Pigeon Point in Seattle that is a 3BR/1.5BA rambler completely remodeled inside (like new construction basically throughout) with a view of Seattle’s skyline. We are potentially interested in either one-time placement or long-term management, but want to get an idea of the fees involved. Could you give me an idea of what types of fees (i.e. flat fees or percentages) your group charges for management of a single family unit like the one we have?
    Thanks in advance,
    Andy
